General
These Terms and Conditions govern all registrations, purchases and participation in courses, workshops and examination sessions organised by MIGZ (Minimally Invasive Gynaecology Zadar).
By completing a registration and payment on this website, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree, you should not proceed with registration.
MIGZ reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of your registration applies to your booking.
Registration
Registration is completed exclusively through the MIGZ website using the guest checkout flow. No user account is required or created. A confirmation email with all relevant details is sent immediately after successful payment.
Eligibility
MIGZ courses and exams are intended for qualified medical professionals — specifically gynaecologists, residents in gynaecology and obstetrics, and other surgical specialists with a legitimate professional interest in minimally invasive surgical techniques.
GESEA Level 2 prerequisite
Registration for GESEA Level 2 courses requires prior completion and certification of GESEA Level 1. MIGZ reserves the right to request proof of Level 1 certification before confirming a Level 2 registration. Registrations that cannot confirm the prerequisite may be cancelled and refunded in full.
Spot confirmation
A spot is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. Completing the registration form without payment does not reserve a place. MIGZ operates on a first-paid, first-confirmed basis.

Payment
All course fees are charged in full at the time of registration. No deposit or instalment option is available. Online credit and debit card payments are processed using Teya's secure card acceptance system.
Prices displayed on the website are inclusive of VAT. An R1 invoice is generated automatically and sent to the email address provided at checkout within 24 hours of payment.
Online Payment Security (Teya)
Teya protects the confidentiality of your card and personal data from the moment you enter it into the payment form. The data is transmitted in encrypted form (SSL encryption) to your bank. MIGZ, as the merchant, never comes into contact with your complete payment card details, such as the card number or CVV, and this information is not available to MIGZ personnel. Teya operates in accordance with the highest payment card industry security standard (PCI DSS).
Currency
All prices are quoted and charged in Euro (EUR). International card payments may be subject to conversion fees charged by your bank or card provider. MIGZ is not responsible for such fees.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, your registration is not confirmed and your spot is not reserved. You may attempt to re-register if spots are still available. In case of a technical payment error where funds have been deducted but no confirmation was received, contact us at hello@migz.eu within 24 hours.

Transfers are not permitted after the course has begun.
Cancellation by MIGZ
MIGZ reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to insufficient enrolment, force majeure, illness of key faculty, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control. In the event of cancellation by MIGZ, all registered participants will receive a full refund regardless of the notice period. MIGZ is not responsible for any travel, accommodation or other costs incurred by participants as a result of a cancellation.
Course Participation
All MIGZ courses are conducted in a hands-on, dry lab (simulation) environment using Karl Storz equipment. Participation is practical and physical in nature.
Health and fitness
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are in adequate physical condition to attend and participate in a hands-on surgical skills training course. MIGZ is not liable for any pre-existing conditions that may affect participation. If you have any concerns, consult your physician before registering.
Language
Courses are conducted in English. Croatian may be available on request when all participants are native speakers. MIGZ cannot guarantee translation or interpretation services.
Group size
Course capacity is strictly limited to a maximum of 10–12 participants per course. This limit exists to protect the quality and individual attention provided during training and will not be exceeded under any circumstances.
Code of conduct
Participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully toward instructors, fellow participants and MIGZ staff at all times. MIGZ reserves the right to remove a participant from a course without refund in the event of serious misconduct.
Equipment use
Participants will be trained on the use of Karl Storz simulation equipment during the course. All equipment must be used strictly according to instructor guidance. Any damage to equipment caused by negligent or improper use may be charged to the responsible participant.
Certification
MIGZ courses include standardised GESEA assessments (TESTT, LASTT, SUTT, HYSTT) leading to an ESGE certificate issued by the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE).
The ESGE certificate is awarded only upon passing all required examination components. Attendance alone does not guarantee certification.
Failed assessments
If a participant does not pass one or more assessment components during the course, they may attend a separate exam-only session to re-attempt the failed component(s). Re-examination sessions are available at the published exam-only rate (€450) and must be booked separately.
Certificate validity
ESGE certificates are issued and managed by ESGE in accordance with their own policies. MIGZ is a certified training centre and facilitates the assessment process but is not responsible for the long-term validity, recognition or renewal requirements of certificates issued by ESGE.
Accommodation & Travel
MIGZ organises accommodation exclusively for invited international faculty and lecturers. Participants are responsible for arranging and funding their own accommodation and travel to and from Zadar.
MIGZ is not liable for any travel or accommodation costs incurred by participants, including in the event of course cancellation or rescheduling.
Zadar is accessible via Zadar Airport (ZAD) with direct connections to major European cities, as well as by road and ferry. Information about hotels and accommodation in Zadar is available on request.
Limitation of Liability
MIGZ and its instructors provide education and simulation-based training only. Participation in MIGZ courses does not constitute or replace medical licensing, specialist certification, or any other formal qualification required by law or professional regulatory bodies in the participant's jurisdiction.
MIGZ is not liable for any clinical or patient outcomes resulting from procedures performed by course participants following their attendance at a MIGZ course or examination session.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MIGZ's liability in connection with any course orcevent shall be limited to the amount paid by the participant for that specific course or event.
